继续做另一件事情（已经完成一件事．）
After we finished watching the basketball game,we continued to hang out with our friends.
我们看完篮球比赛以后继续和朋友一起玩耍.
The children continued to play computer games after they had dinner. 吃完晚饭孩子们继续玩游戏。
continue doing
继续做同一件事（还没完成）
After a rest,he continued doing his housework.
稍事休息后,他继续做家务。
20 minutes later，The players continued training as usual. 20分钟以后,运动员们继续像往常一样训练。
